Dr. Yasser Hassan

Dr. Yasser Mohamed Hassan is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist and Head of the Radiation Oncology Department at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center (KCCC). He has been instrumental in introducing advanced radiotherapy techniques, including MRI-guided brachytherapy for gynecological cancers, improving treatment precision and reducing side effects for patients.

His expertise spans multiple cancer types, including genitourinary, gynecological, central nervous system, and pediatric cancers. In addition to his clinical work, he is a strong advocate for early cancer detection and actively promotes public awareness, particularly in prostate cancer screening in Kuwait.
