Dr. Munir Ghesani

Dr. Munir Ghesani, MD, FACNM, FACR, FSNMMI, is a distinguished leader in nuclear medicine with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at United Theranostics and previously served as the System Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System, New York. He is the Associate Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine. His expertise spans oncologic imaging, theranostics, and targeted radiopharmaceutical therapies. Dr. Ghesani has held leadership roles in SNMMI, ACNM, and ABNM, contributed to national and international guidelines, and authored over 200 publications. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Nuclear Medicine: A Case-Based Approach.
