Dr. Jay Engel

Dr. Jay Engel is a Clinical Professor of Surgical Oncology at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Dubai Health, UAE. He brings more than three decades of academic and clinical leadership in surgical oncology, having previously served as Head of Surgical Oncology at Queen’s University, Canada, for over 16 years. Dr. Engel is internationally recognized for his expertise in complex oncologic surgery, education, and mentorship. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and holds fellowships with leading international surgical and medical colleges.
