Dr. Abdulaziz AlJassim

Dr. Abdulaziz AlJassim is a Consultant in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine and serves as Head of the Thoracic Oncology and Sarcoma Division at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center. He earned his medical degree from Kuwait University in 2009, obtained the MRCP (UK) in 2016, and completed the Kuwaiti Board of Internal Medicine in 2017. Dr. AlJassim completed his Medical Oncology residency (2018–2020) and advanced fellowship training in Thoracic Oncology and Sarcoma (2020–2022) at University of Ottawa. He is a Clinical Tutor in the KIMS Medical Oncology Fellowship Program and is an active member of the Kuwait Oncology Association, Gulf Federation for Cancer Control, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society for Medical Oncology, and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. His clinical and academic interests focus on thoracic oncology, sarcoma, and advancing cancer care and education in the region.
